platform for ‪#‎UmuAda_Igbo‬ (Igbo Daughters) to serve humanity and
empower communities in the Igbo Nation, Nigeria and around the world
thus giving our outstanding daughters the rare opportunity to display
their Artistic Skills, Intelligence, Confidence, Cultural Pride and
Leadership.

That platform is "The MOST BEAUTIFUL IGBO GIRL UNIVERSE PAGEANTRY
(MOBIGUN 2016)". This pageant is made open for Young Girls of IGBO
EXTRACTIONS (between the ages of 17 and 28).

The MOST BEAUTIFUL IGBO GIRL UNIVERSE – MOBIGUN 2016 Pageantry has
glaring divergence from what it used to be as far as Beauty Contests
and Pageantry is concerned.

PAGEANT CORE AIM & OBJECTIVES
To Promote Glory, beauty and uniqueness of our Igbo heritage,
international cultural awareness and community pride.
To further develop our young ladies in becoming self reliant.
To provide an enabling platform to further develop UmuAda Igbo (young
girls of Igbo extraction) in becoming self reliant and they display
their beauty & artistic skills, encourage Igbo language speaking
skills, cultural pride, leadership and family values in other to
further advance themselves in Nigeria and the entire global
communities.

PAGEANT DETAILS:
Most Beautiful Igbo Girl Universe (also known as MOBIGUN) is a
pageant, where Ladies of the age range 17-28 would compete to be the
MOST BEAUTIFUL IGBO GIRL UNIVERSE.

Contestants shall be evaluated on the basis of their uniqueness,
intelligence, physical appearance, eloquence, compatibility, fashion
and style with focus on Igbo Cultural promotion.

42 candidates, selected by HIGH-ESTEEMED Panel of Judges, will be
camped for 11 days where they will show their understanding of the
Glory of Igbo culture, traditions and lifestyle. The daily activities
of these contestants will be aired/broadcasted on LIVE
TV/Websites/Social Media Platforms and the general public given the
opportunity to vote electronically and otherwise. They would stay
together, solve riddles and complete tough tasks within their 11 days
in camp.

These candidates would consist of 42 females, who would then compete
to be among the 37  Finalists and then to be winners. The winners
(Winner, 1st Runner-Up and 2nd Runner-Up) will be announced/presented
by a Highly-regarded traditional ruler in the Igbo land and witnessed
by reputable Igbo personalities at the GRAND FINALE dinner night.

Winners (Winner, 1st Runner-Up and 2nd Runner-Up) will be exposed to
represent Igbo Nation in Pageantry events nationwide and
internationally.

She will be able to instill the values and knowledge of Igbo cultural
heritage in her everyday life. She will also go for talk shows,
campaigns and road shows to promote Igbo heritage and culture.

She will also exhibit our rich cultural heritage in other
states/countries during their cultural events.

Celebrated Ghanaian music producer, Benjamin Garzy Mensah popularly known as Mix Masta Garzy, will embark on an European Studio tour dubbed “Studio Session with Mix Masta Garzy.”
This tour begins in March and ends in April 2016.
2MG Music in collaboration with Flexclusive Music Entertainment made this possible to enable artists across Europe to have a one-on-one session with the ‘Mix-Master’ himself and also to have a taste of his creativity.

Garzy has been behind most hit songs trending in Ghana and worked with award winning artists like VVIP, D Cryme, Davido, Samini, R2Bees, Stonebwoy, Eazzy, EL, Edem, Atumpan, Dee Moneey, 4X4 among many others.

A producer of his caliber could just sit and wait for artists to reach him wherever he is; But his passion for producing good music for the world; drove him to start this historical tour.

Larry Lizzard Set to Release a New Song Featuring Gasmilla
Fast rising Afro-pop/Highlife act Larry Lizzard makes entry into 2016 with a brand new single set to keep music lovers on their feet.

He’s known in real life as Larry Usifu Ramani. Larry Lizzard is a rare talent in the Ghanaian music scene and he’s knowns for hit singles “Which net”, You Fine” “Maga Don Pay” amongst other creative records.

Lizzard will once again be a regular on your playlist with this yet-to-be-released Afropop jam.

Although he has been off the music scene a while to pursue other works, this year revives his music sense.

The Cypher will be officially engineered by 2 fast rising producers Ghana can boast of, CJ Beatz and DDT.
About the #Big6Cypher
The #Big6Cypher is scheduled to commence every month. Organizers we will hand-pick 6 rappers randomly to be featured on a beat. Each artist will unleash 16 bars on the beat (No restrictions to swear words). The maximum duration for the cypher beat(s) produced by the engineers mentioned above will be 6 minutes throughout. After production, there will be both the clean and ‘dirty’ version of each record produced by the fast rising engineers.
Every month there will be new artistes until the 6th month where organizers will select the best 6 from the previous records and compile them for the mega edition.

As shocked as i am, i realise that the route with which i leave my
house, is the route with which i return.
I guess there's a roundabout where life naturally turns.
We defeacate to empty our stomach, of which the emptiness of the
stomach prompted us to eat.
The barber needs someone to cut his hair too.
The singer needs to listen to songs.
The teacher has to be taught
The father was fathered
The designer needs someone to take his measurements
The child grows to start walking while the old man grows to stop walking
The man who sells casket will be carried in one...
The roundabout is a place where we are enabled to turn round to the
place where we started.
I believe that life is lived at the roundabout because we grow
extremely old into the same dependence unto which we were born.
The end of life really takes us back to the beginning.
Life really ends where it started.
The best way to live is to die to life
In like manner, the earth ends it's day where it started....

Floxy reacts to being Child Ink Africa Ambassador | @ChildInkAfrica @IamFloxyFlora

Singer Chinwendu Florence Izuchukwu aka Flory has reacted to her recent appointment as Brand Ambassador of Child Ink Africa, saying it is a privilege and a challenge to her commitment towards the development of others.

Floxy who spoke at the inauguration of the Organization on January 30, 2016, in Owerri, Imo State said her performance that day was the first time she would be performing for kids as an artiste and at the end of the day, she felt something special.

“It’s special to me, knowing a brand new audience; it’s something I’ve never done before and have never even dreamt of doing. When I was told about it, I had something new stirred up in me and at the end of the day, it is really worth it”

Through her official LinkedIn page, Floxy said her appointment as Child Ink Africa Brand Ambassador is privilege to serve humanity and also to be committed towards development of others.

“It’s going to be a wonderful experience for me and others in the team, I might not have made much, but it is time to start giving back to others.

“I’ve known what it means to be a talented or gifted child with no one to support you, I was once like that until someone looked my way and supported me to where I am today.

“If I will ever get that opportunity to give the same hand to others, I will never hesitate. So I am looking forward to helping these children because you need to see the amount of creativity they exhibited that day. Some are already wonderful artists and writers in the making and we really need to help them” she said.

Child Ink Africa is an organization that helps and nurtures creative children in literary and visual arts especially in the area of writing, drawing and painting. Floxy is the first Brand Ambassador of the organization which kicked off with some secondary schools in Owerri, Imo State.

NEWS : Quata Budukusu charged up for Wa concert

Arguably Quata Budukusu is one of the best rappers and energetic stage performers of our time. After missing from the stage for some time and also for the fact that the fans have missed his magical stage craft, he is set to put up a come back stage performance during the Rush Energy street carnival at Wa, the capital city of the Upper West Region in the northern part of Ghana on Wednesday, 10^th February, 2016 at the Nima Street. Also on the bill to perform is Akyerekyerefo and Kwame Seseben and a number of artiste from the northern part of the country for the Rush Energy Wa Activation. The following will also be on the bill; Raphius, G.Kliff, Ras Badingu, Kawute, B.M.B, Wuchare, PH 1, Sumaya, and T.I.P.
According to Quata’s management, they are not doing this only for the people of Wa because it is a nationwide tour so obviously from Wa, Quata Budukusu will be storming other regions. They are therefore urging all the fans in the various regions of Ghana to keep their fingers crossed because Quata will soon be at their doorsteps. In a reaction to a question on the motive behind the choice of Wa, spokesperson and the personal manager for Quata Budukusu, Mr. Tengol Kplemani stated “well, honestly speaking after serious deliberations by the team we ended on Wa for the reason being that Wa is the starting point of Ghana so we decided to begin from there and then later end in Accra’.
The concert, Rush Energy Wa Activation, is sponsored by one of the best energy drinks in the country, Rush Energy Drink in collaboration with Bakus Entertainment, the management of Quata Budukusu and Akyerekyerefo. The producers of the Rush energy drink maintained they took a critical note of Quata’s previous performances and the kind of energy he exhibits on the stage hence the decision to support his nationwide tour. Meanwhile, they also had a thought that if such an energetic person like Quata will perform to satisfy his fans then he needs a drink that will provide the energy and that is Rush Energy drink. “We call on everyone in the Wa Township to come out and support Quata and friends as they thrill fans with the best of performances and remember, it is going down on Wednesday, 10th February, 2016 at Nima Street from 6pm till you drop” a closing remark from Rush Energy drink management team.
